I presume this would not be a problem for the U2412M? I plan to use this monitor mainly with a 2010 Macbook Pro, and I'd also like to be able to use it with an older Power Mac G4, running a Radeon 8500. I haven't found anything at 27 inches that meets this requirement within my budget (tops around $300-400), and have found a few options at 24 inches, the U2412M looking the best. I'd like to purchase new technology rather than something a few years old from when 1920x1200 was more common than it is now. I am looking for something in the 24 to 27 inch range.

I am hoping some you who own it might be able to answer some questions and provide input. I'm looking into a new external monitor and am liking most of what I've seen about the U2412M.
